Natural Flu Shot Recipe – No Injections Necessary

Natural Flu Shot Remedies

Natural flu remedies are becoming more popular and for good reason.

At the bottom of this article, you will find what is needed to create a built-in self-defense system to lock out any potential sicknesses.

The CDC flu shot does not guarantee a season free from influenza.

In many cases, you will wind up getting the flu just after receiving the shot, and this is a known fact.
People are becoming more aware of alternative ways to fight off the flu and other sicknesses.

It is good to note here, that if your immune system is already suppressed, follow your Drs recommendation for your body’s needs.

Every one is different and knowing your physiology is of utmost importance.

Have you noticed just how many commercials there are?

Most of all of them is Big Pharm trying to get you to believe there is a pill for every symptom. After each sell, there’s a long detailed explanation for any side effect you may get after taking the medication.

The Nielsen Co. determined that there are, on average, 80 drug commercials every hour of every day on TV.

That is a huge number of television ads being sold!!

A Big reason why many homes do not watch television any longer.   The public, in general, is being sold a bill of goods, mostly by the pharmaceutical companies, each time the television is on.

Families are turning to other forms of entertainment. They are smart, keeping their young children away from the constant barrage of sickness being sold.

It’s crazy how these pharmaceutical companies use caricatures to help sell their products.

These little creatures sell drugs.

Natural Flu Shot Recipes

The angry monster living under your toe because you may have a fungus, or the sad shadow following you around because you must be depressed.

Pretty sad to think this type of advertising is actually working.
Prescription drug spending is the third most expensive cost in our health care system today.

So what do you do and who do you trust?

Well, in this day and age there are many things you can do.  You can do your research,  just by using the Internet alone, you can seek out others wanting to find the same answers to questions you yourself are asking.

Still, how can you trust the sites you are referring to?

Keep doing more research.

There are some great articles written here for more information referencing just how duped we are as a nation, being sold sicknesses, by Big Pharm.

Take the time to read reputable articles from reputable sources. Ones that aren’t trying to sell you anything but are merely there to give you information for your benefit.

This is how I do my research and this is how you can do  yours.

On the bright side

There are many new articles and proven methods for taking care of yourself before you get sick.
These methods have been around for thousands of years and are making a come-back in a big way.

The best way to avoid the flu or any sickness, is prevention.

What are you doing on a daily basis to prevent yourself from being sick?

Look at the simple things first.

  • Are you getting enough rested sleep?
  • Drinking plenty of fresh water?
  • Eating balanced meals?
  • Practice a daily meditation or yoga?

These are just a few of the things that are common factors in everyday lives from thriving individuals.

You don’t have to ‘catch the latest bug’ this season. It’s been so brainwashed into our heads that we are going to get sick; people believe it to be true.

So, what is the easiest thing to do to prevent getting the flu this season?

Eat whole, fresh, unprocessed nutritious foods that will give you strength and energy. When your diet consists of nutritious and sustaining foods and you eat only what you know you can digest, your body will be on its way to a healthier, more balanced way of living.

The three main foods to eat while winter is settling in is:

  • Ginger
  • Onion
  • Garlic

These three roots are hugely deprived in many homes and they’re easy to prepare. The ‘big three’ has been proven to keep the body’s blood extremely potent to fight off any bug attempting to enter your system.

“The three roots – garlic, onion, and ginger, will maintain you through the times and through the age.” Yogi Bhajan

eating raw onion is the preferred way to treat symptoms.

  • Fights viruses and bacteria.
  • Increases blood flow.
  • Eat raw, baked, or steamed.

The beneficial effect from these three root foods separately is amplified greatly when prepared together.

Here is one of my favorite recipes I’d like to share:

Solstice Mung Beans and Rice with Vegetables

A perfectly balanced protein dish, easy to digest and very satisfying. Good any time of year but makes a particularly good winter diet.

4 ½ cups water
½ cup whole mung beans
½ cup basmati rice
1 onion, chopped
3 cloves garlic, minced
¼ cup finely minced ginger root
3 cups chopped vegetables
2 tablespoons ghee or oil
¾ tablespoon turmeric
¼ teaspoon dried crushed red chilés
¼ teaspoon ground black pepper
½ teaspoon coriander
½ teaspoon cumin
½ teaspoon salt

Cooking Instructions:

Rinse the mung beans and rice.  (I like to soak my beans overnight so they’re nice and ready to cook)

Add the mung beans to boiling water and cook until they begin to split.

Add the rice and cook another 15 minutes, stirring occasionally.

Now add the vegetables.

Heat the ghee/oil in a sauté pan and add the onions, garlic, and ginger and sauté until clear.

Add the spices and cook 5 more minutes, stirring constantly.

Add a little water if necessary.

Add this to the cooked rice and beans.

You can substitute vegetables to your taste, as well as use Bragg Liquid Aminos,  tamari, or soy sauce instead of salt.

Tastes great with yogurt!

Thanks to 3HO for this great recipe.
It’s easy to make and everyone will love it.

Another great way to boost your blood to SUPER HEALTH – consume tons of garlic.

Natural Flu Shot Recipes

Everyone that sees this thinks “you’re going to stink” but the opposite is true.

If you eat garlic every day (okay, let’s say for you beginners, at least once per week) your body gets accustomed to this potent food and will eventually digest in a way that will keep you from worrying about the odor. The garlic you eat will become odorless once your body is used to ingesting and digesting this miracle food.

This is how many of us garlic lovers eat our garlic:

  • Toast your bread
  • Spread coconut oil (better than butter for many reasons)
  • Get however many cloves of garlic you can handle and chop up
  • Heat the garlic in small amount of oil (again, coconut is best)

And your garlic toast is ready to enjoy.

On a personal note: I have eaten this way for many years and I have yet to become sick during the cold season.

If you have enjoyed this article let me know in the comments below. If you know anyone or you yourself have a certain diet, and it has kept you from getting sick with the flu, please share with all of us. The more people that are exposed to eating a healthier way the better off we will all be.

Thank you!

I agree with you that sleep, drinking water, and a good diet are a way better way to keep yourself healthy. We eat a lot of garlic, ginger, and onion in our household and we totally escaped the flu season illness free this year. even though we have young children and adults that work in the health field. Thank you for a great post.

I like onion a lot. I use it time from time for my hair, when I had to narrow shoes, I put half of sliced onion in sock during all night. In morning, my feet is as new.
I know that is good to drink sliced onion, after pouring on him hot water and keeping during night. In morning I drink this water with all good stuff what came from him. I read somewhere that it helps from cellulite.
Overall all your mentioned things are great. They were used hundred years ago and helped people to protect themselves without side effects.

  5. Hi!

Thank you for your niche. Thank you for your research and the simplicity of ideas you set forth. We all need to get back to nature, but most like myself don’t know how. As you know there isn’t a lot of information out there about how to put the pharmaceuticals in their proper place.

I will definitely follow along with your blog. It is beautiful. Well laid out and eye-catching and appealing, lovely pictures. I feel healthier just reading your page. Thank you again for your conscientious research.

    1. Thank you for your very sweet comment! I feel lucky to have the ability to share the information I feel is so necessary. The Internet has changed how we observe things and I am happy to be a part of it.

Looking forward to seeing around here again, thanks again!!

  6. This is one of the best articles I have seen about flu shots!
My experience has been that every year I hear all my friends talking about going for their flu shots and taking their kids too. Every year they get dreadfully ill with flu at least once as well as their kids.
I have never had a flu shot and neither have my kids. This year my 3 year old daughter has not been ill at all, not even once.
I don’t usually get the flu and when I do I am ill for a short while and bounce back fast. I’ve noticed that my friends get ill for 3 weeks at a time.
I think these flu shots are a load of rubbish.
Eat properly, eat things that build your immune system and when you do get sick let your body fight it on its own without any medication as far as possible. If you want to take something take a natural remedy before medication. Ginger, lemon and honey tea works wonders!
Doing this will build your immune system up in the long run. That is how we do things in our family and we are a healthy bunch 🙂
Love the tips here, thanks for sharing.

    1. It’s always so great to hear from people like yourself. It’s encouraging to know there are young families raising their
children without compromising their immune systems at a young age. You’re absolutely right about eating the right things that
build the body’s immunity. People forget this and get too caught up in what commercials are telling them, and they believe it.

Thanks so much for stopping by and leaving me such a great comment!!

  7. Good post. I agree with you about Pharma. I used to work in that field so they absolutely plan to take over every disease area with product.

I don’t do the shots but ive been using ginger root. I make tea out of it and add honey (real honey not the syrup they label as honey in the supermarket)

    1. I appreciate when people like yourself leaves comments about how they take care of themselves naturally.

Good for you to not be working for big pharma any longer. I’m sure you learned much while there!

      Thanks for your comment.

  8. WOW – awesome post, full of great information. I, for one, do not take the flu shot and never will. My diet consist of some of the things you mentioned in your post.

I agree about all the commercials and the bad side affects – I too, don’t understand why they let them air them.

Keep up the great work – awesome stuff!

    1. Maybe one day we’ll see otherwise but for now television isn’t helping!
People tend to believe what they see on TV, and unfortunately most commercials are all paid by the
      pharmaceutical companies.

      Thank you for your comment!

  9. Hi Meherbani,
I admire your passion with a passion. There aren’t enough people spreading your information around. I mean It’s hard to believe that the brand name companies get away with feeding us and prescribing us all this harmful substance. Living natural is just the way to go! I like the ingredients and everything. 🙂
