The health benefits of wheatgrass juice are becoming widely recognized throughout the world.

I am a great example of someone who has gained over fifty pounds and lost it all by juicing wheatgrass.
Juicing for weight loss is very doable and not extreme.

Once I decided to lose the weight I’ve been carrying around for way too long it was very easy to implement a healthy juicing program for myself.
Now, I’m excited to share this information with anyone looking to do the same.
It all started with wheatberries which led me to juicing wheatgrass.
I studied the wheatberry exclusively and found this to be the way I was going to begin my journey to weight loss.
It is definitely by far the easiest way to lose weight while maintaining your health without compromising your protein intake, which is a big concern for many.
Wheatgrass is a good source of potassium and protein, plus it a great source of dietary fiber.
It also is rich in Vitamin A, Vitamin C, Vitamin E (alpha tocopherol), Vitamin K, Thiamin, Niacin, Riboflavin, Vitamin B6, Pantothenic Acid, Copper, Zinc, Selenium, and Manganese. (source)
Many people have asked me “what is up with the wheatgrass, and tell me more about it”
Especially once they’ve seen me lose up to 50 pounds and looking better than I have in many years.
I began by reading everything I can about this amazing berry and decided it was the right choice for me.
I’d start the day with 2 ounces of freshly cut juiced wheatgrass, and 2 ounces in the evening before sunset.
Once in the morning and once in the evening.
NOTE – wheatgrass in extremely powerful.
It has the ability to detox your body at a very accelerated pace.
Do not take more than 4 ounces in 24 hours.
A 2 ounce shot of wheatgrass is equivalent to 5 pounds of raw vegetables!!
Wheatgrass is higher in Vitamin C than oranges and has twice the amount of Vitamin A as carrots.
It contains the full spectrum for Vitamin B as well as calcium, potassium, magnesium and sodium.
People often ask, “where do you get your protein?”.
I tell them wheatgrass is a complete source of protein, supplying all essential amino acids, and so much more.
It’s easy to find out the truth about wheatgrass.
It’s hard for meat eaters to believe the amount of protein in wheatgrass is healthier than the protein found in meat, by far.
When I decided to juice for weight loss and began my wheatgrass juicing I didn’t think I was able to do it without being hungry.
I was pleasantly surprised at how I always felt full and never felt hungry.
The protein in wheatgrass is in the form of polypeptides, which is a simpler and shorter chain of amino acids, which is more effective for blood circulation, and cell tissues.
I began juicing to lose weight but I quickly realized that I’ve never had more energy and felt so good, not only because I was losing unwanted weight quickly; but because I was generally feeling better in my whole being.
I researched wheatgrass some more and found when drinking this super green juice; your blood is being alkalinized while ridding your body of all toxic build-up, that’s been stored in deep tissue for many years.
The importance of having alkalinized blood:
It’s important to have your body stay more alkaline than acidic.
Some signs of being over acidic are allergies, colds, psoriasis, eczema, bloating, sinus and flu problems that never seem to go away, or if they do go away they soon come back.
Eventually, chronic illness that keeps perpetuating will eventually create havoc in your life.
Your body’s pH balance is good to know. The pH scale runs between 0-14 with 7 being neutral.
Below 7 is too acidic; above 7 is alkaline with the optimal blood level being 7.365.

The pH level of our bodily fluids will affect each cell in the body.
Our entire metabolic processing depends on a healthy alkaline environment.
It is a fact that most of the western diet is ACIDIC forming for our bodies; dairy products, caffeine, meat, sugar, saturated fats and refined carbohydrates all contribute to our chronic over acidic society.
If not looked at seriously, those who continue to live an acidic life, continuing on this path will lead to cells corroding many of the body’s tissue on a deep cellular level.
An over acidic body is the root of all sickness and disease.
It is also the reason many people remain overweight.
My body was way too over acidic when I began my juicing for weight loss program at home.
I was adamant on changing this.
I learned to accept the fact that I needed to make some serious changes and I did.
Beginning with juicing wheatgrass.
It’s no wonder my overall well being was in a much happier state.
When people first hear of drinking wheatgrass they are somewhat confused at how they’re supposed to ‘like’ it and make it a part of their everyday diet.
This is understandable for those who have never tried it before.
Wheatgrass can be very sweet, depending on how it’s grown.
The wheatgrass we were growing in our home was incredibly sweet and went down easy, no problem!
It was the best decision I’ve ever made.
Fast forward 6 years, my weight is still off and I am beginning to help others do the same.
