How to Lose Weight Fast Naturally – Yes you can

If you are asking yourself how to lose weight fast naturally you have come to the right place.

The stories are familiar.

You promise to do your daily treadmill workout and you’re counting each calorie consumed.

Only somehow you wind up eating those chips your friend had out on her kitchen counter.

You couldn’t resist.
After all, those chips are tasty!

Then comes the negative self-talk.

And the cycle continues.

So what really works when you’re asking how to lose weight fast naturally?

The easier way to go about this is to trade in the all or nothing approach for a healthier one.

It means you must tweak your habits a bit and accept the fact that losing weight is a lifestyle, not a fad.

Here are some examples of how you can do this.

Cut back on how often you eat out in restaurants, and if you eat out often be sure you order grilled instead of fried and salad instead of fries.

Instead of buying snacks at your local grocery store skip that aisle and keep walking past it to the produce section. Buy some freshly cut bagged carrots instead. This will immediately stop the sugar craving and fill you with good nutrients, not empty calories.

Eat a well-balanced breakfast and be sure never to skip this most important meal of the day. Filling up with breakfast calories will help you stay full longer and keep you away from the hunger pangs, you will be less tempted to snack on whatever is around.

Add vegetables to all the dishes you prepare. You will fill up quickly with nutrient dense veggies as opposed to empty calories. Your belly won’t have room for things such as chips, ice cream or other desserts.

Look forward to your workouts by loading your iPod with some upbeat music that will energize you.
Instead of looking at the clock to see when your workout routine is over you will be inspired to keep moving.

Benefits of being vegetarin

This is an awesome way to keep up with whatever you’re doing be it running, walking or hula hooping.
You can burn up to 1000 calories with one good inspiring set with your headphones keeping you going!

Begin a daily 30 minute a day walking habit.
This one habit has helped me, personally, lose up to 50 pounds.

It’s the best way to begin a workout without stressing yourself going to the gym or feeling inadequate with that Zumba class you want to take but are not quite self-assured to try it yet.

Walking 30 minutes a day combined with healthy eating will definitely help you lose weight and keep it off.

Clean out your kitchen pantry!

There is way too much inside your pantry with things you’re better off not digesting.
When I cleaned out my pantry I was left with two choices.

Buy more of the same or switch up my choices to better and healthier foods.

Cleaning out your pantry of boxed and canned foods will leave you room to organize it in a better way.

Try eating foods that are not in a box or a can for at least one week.

See what happens!

Plus, you will be inspired to re-fill your pantry with organic and healthy alternatives.
Buy an assortment of beans and fill them in jars to save when you are ready to create delicious healthy soups.

Soups are great to consume for healthy eating helping your body lose weight while maintaining your health.

How to lose weight fast naturally

If you had many cycles of weight loss and weight gain in your life it is still possible to make lasting changes.

There are four rules for beginning your journey to losing weight.

  1. Remove all tempting food from your home
  2. Drink lots of fresh water all day long
  3. Eat lots of fresh veggies to help keep you full
  4. Don’t eat just because you are feeling bored
  5. Exercise every day

You can safely lose three or more pounds a week.

If you burn 500 calories more than you eat every day for a week, you will lose about 1-2 pounds.

If you want to lose weight fast then you will need to eat less and exercise more!!

For instance, if you take in 1,050 – 1,200 calories a day, and exercise for one hour per day, you will lose 3-5 pounds in the first week, or more if you weigh more than 250 pounds.

If you cut calories more than this it will be dangerous.

Limiting salt and starches will also help losing more weight at first, but that is mostly fluids retained in your body, not fat.

Have you heard all kinds of stories surrounding belly fat?

Everyone has it, even the people with flat abs.

It’s normal. But too much belly fat can affect your overall health in a way that other fat doesn’t.
Some of your fat are right beneath your skin while the other fat is deeper inside, around your lungs, heart, liver, and other organs.

It’s that deeper fat called “visceral” fat and may be the bigger problem, even for thin people.
Everyone needs some visceral fat but too much may trigger heart disease, dementia, type 2 diabetes and high blood pressure.

There is a balance to everything in life but the most important balancing act will be with your personal health habits.

Every day you wake up you have the ability to make the right choice.

Either to heal your body or keep hurting your body.

How to lose weight fast naturally

Using a sauna along with exercise and healthy eating habits will hasten your chances to losing weight quickly and naturally.

People are paying good money to rid their bodies of toxic build-up.
Gyms and health care spas are seeing the number of people wanting to use a sauna on the rise.

Sauna therapy is on the rise for anyone wanting to seriously deal with their health, lose unwanted pounds, and feel better naturally.

Detoxing your body by sweating will help remove unwanted toxins deeply embedded in your body.

If you want to know how to lose weight fast naturally I have to tell you my number one recommendation making use of a sauna along with regular daily exercise.

That along with healthy eating habits will encourage your body to kick into high gear for a healthier and slimmer you.

I have written about sauna therapy if you are interested in learning more on how many people are using saunas in their lives to create a healthier lifestyle.

It is not a luxury to own a sauna these days. Many people are buying them and putting them into their homes.

This great portable sauna that has become very popular lately due to a number of people wanting to use a sauna in their homes but has little room for one.

The portable home sauna has worked for those who live in apartments and condos and want the benefit of utilizing a sauna but can’t afford a large one or live in smaller spaces.

It is easier to lose weight fast than it is to keep the fat off.
Using a sauna along with daily exercise, you will keep the fat off without a doubt.

Keeping a sauna at home makes it easy to take one every evening in the privacy of your own home.

The question of how to lose weight fast naturally has been answered but it’s up to you to make the necessary changes.

The changes you need to make are not as hard as you may think it is.

  1. Great article with lots of information! I’m not really looking to lost much weight or anything, but I do do my best to eat healthy and live as healthy as possible, so I do appreciate different perspectives from time to time.

The only thing I disagree with is the calorie numbers you mentioned. I don’t think anyone should ever go below 1200 calories a day. Even then, that’s low. Eating so little every day for long enough will eventually slow your metabolism, which means you will need to eat even LESS to maintain the weight loss, and then it just becomes a nasty cycle.

Anyway, that’s just what I’ve gotten from my research, as well as some personal trial and error. Really though, great article. Lots of awesome information.

  2. Yeah I agree the all or nothing approach is a recipe for failure. I’ve lost 54 lbs over a 9 month period. Pretty slow. But I cut out the refined carbs and sugars and the weight came off. My fat intake didn’t really change., though. My blood work is pretty damn good too.

    1. That’s amazing and I’m sure you feel amazing as well.

There is definitely no quick fix and the more effort and patience one has the better off they will be.

It’s the journey not the destination. Thanks for leaving a comment :

  3. These are really good tips. It’s so important to get rid of the foods that you’re going to crave. If they’re in the house, most people won’t be able to resist. Drinking plenty of water is also a great tip. And exercise of course.
I still can’t get myself to eat vegetables daily though. I know I’m supposed to have them several times a day but they aren’t pleasing at all.

  4. Healthy living and losing weight naturally have been debated for eternity.

Some people are always looking for a quick fix, a magic pill, but the real solution is not that.

Losing weight starts with healthy habits and a healthy lifestyle. these are the foundation for a healthy mind and body

    1. Isn’t that the truth. There is no magic pill and definitely no quick fixes. It is a daily regiment of healthy choices and mindful actions that will keep us all on the right path to wellness.

  5. Excellent post! I gained quite a bit of weight in my late 20’s when I went through a traumatic situation, have had the hardest of time since then to control the weight. A few years ago I found out I am gluten sentitive and have changed my diet, have lost 20 pounds so far, so diet change is important and does work.
    Regards, Sylvie

    1. Hi Sylvie, thanks for sharing that with me, I plan on putting up some recipes soon and will definitely include gluten-free ones.

  7. Meherbani, I am always searching online for information on health to learn and reinforce what I am already doing.
Your article gives very sensible, easy to follow tips that anyone can follow.
Cleaning house and ridding the unhealthy food choices is the 1st step. You are right, if it’s not there, chances are you won’t make a special trip to the store when you have cravings.
Making the workout fun with your won high-intensity music also makes the 30-60 minute workout fly by.

I learned something about other fat that is deeper inside, around your lungs, heart, liver, and other organs. that can’t be good.

I bookmarked your site so I can quickly access and stop back by to see what’s new.
Keep up the great service for your readers

  8. Hi Meherbani,

Thank you so much for taking the time to write this post! I usually aren’t very impressed with people’s tips on weight loss, there seems to be so many people out there that don’t really know what they’re talking about in terms of nutrition.

Those changes in your lifestyle and diet really do make a great cumulative difference to your health. I’ve got a metabolism problem, and I’ve gained some weight due to some medications I take, so I’m not really comfortable in my body, but I’m recovering from an eating disorder and it’s really hard not to fall into that pit, which is just as unhealthy, even deadly.

Thanks again, I really enjoyed reading this.

    All the best,

    1. Hi Katia,

I understand gaining weight due to medication is fairly common. Maybe you can counteract it with more physical exercise. I’ve had ups and downs in the weight loss arena during my life and it can be quite challenging.
Good luck on continuing your recovery from the eating disorder! You can do it.

Thanks for commenting and please come back sometime to say hi.

  9. Lots of great information about losing weight. believe me I know about losing weight I do that a lot. Lose and gain over and over.
Here is another way you did not mention. I know a salesman who lost a lot of weight. I ask him how he did it and I quote “I eat one cheeseburger instead of two.
Now that is good advice. Not so mush what you eat for weight lose but how much.

  10. Great post and very informative. The hardest thing for me personally is to keep that mind set and routine.

I have failed a few times because I just give up in the end. I guess it does comedown to having an over all balance and maybe that’s what has caused me to fail.

I will follow your tips and hopefully I can lose the weight I gained over Christmas.

    1. So many of us gained some weight over the holidays, I know I did! I do believe it’s all about balance. If I didn’t then I wouldn’t have enjoyed all the delicious meals. However, I am back on track and feeling better now.

      You can do this.

      Thanks for commenting!

  11. This was quite the informative article that you have written here. It is amazing how a few little changes or additions in my diet could make such an impact on my life. I really like the tip of creating my play list before I start exercising, add another dimension to my thinking and enjoyment of exercise.

I know this might be a weird question but does the time of day I do my exercise matter?

    1. I don’t think it’s a weird question at all, in fact, others have asked the same exact question.

Exercising in the morning is always the better way to go but so many, myself included, cannot make it out in the mornings. I’ve heard it said that morning exercise helps the metabolism stay up for the rest of the day.

I’ve been exercising at night because I work from early morning till late into the evening.
I am still getting great results and I sleep like a baby!

      Thanks for commenting!

  12. Natural methods for weight loss are definitely the way to go. I suppose there are cases where surgery or medicine may be required. However, those cases are the exceptions and are few. If a person can lose weight by eating properly and exercising, this is definitely the healthier choice. Also, the natural methods lead to so many other benefits beyond just weight loss.
I never thought of eating breakfast as a way to lose weight. However, your explanation makes sense. I don’t always eat breakfast. Perhaps, it is time to start.
I do like the sauna. I don’t have access to one, though. I’ve seen some of those portable saunas and they do look interesting.
I agree that the mental process is really where it needs to start. The right mindset can work wonders for motivation.
    Thanks for the valuable information.

    1. Surgery is definitely the very last resort for me! But I suppose there are those whom really don’t have the choice for one reason or another. Definitely, check out the portable sauna if you’re interested in them. It worked for me big time and I believe it can work for you too.

Thanks for stopping by and commenting!
