How to live with chronic pain?

Living with chronic pain need not be a life sentence with new found studies surrounding CBD oil and all its outstanding benefits; grown organically from the ground up, CBD offers those with chronic pain, relief and a new way of living, pain-free.

When searching and asking how to live with chronic pain, it gives one pause to think about alternative ways given most traditional methods have either failed or just no longer work.

The only company I will refer to is Elixinol, the one I use for my personal and family needs.

My husband had a significant car accident rendering him in what we thought would be a lifelong sentence to pain medication and the possibility of never enjoying life to its fullest as he once did.

I use it for my stress and anxiety, daily.

It has changed my life for the better, and I am forever grateful to this company for their high ethical standards and stewardship to our planet as they grow and produce organic all the way from the ground to packaging.

How to live with chronic pain

Pain is a symptom present in the lives of so many people, due to its high incidence as a part of the symptomatic manifestations of a large number of illnesses.

Chronic pain is frequently characterized as torment enduring over 12 weeks whereas acute pain is an ordinary vibe that cautions us to conceivable injury.

Chronic pain is very different; it often persists for months or even longer.

There are drugs for pain management in the pharmaceutical world, but, besides the fact that the human body can get used to specific doses of pain medication, needing more to enjoy the desired relief, these drugs (either prescription or over-the-counter) also come with a wide array of unpleasant side-effects and health risks.

Countless people across the world are now in this state of poor health due to their own poor decisions (both known and unknown).

It’s not easy living with pain.

Whether one suffers from muscle spasms, chronic pain or arthritis finding a solution to help deal with that pain can mean the difference between a pleasant day where you can function to a nightmare of a day, just waiting to end.

Now, by no means, is this the genie in the bottle or the silver bullet to ending all health battles. However, it is a revolutionary beginning to improve most overall health and performance.

Let me introduce Cannabidiol otherwise known as CBD.

CBD fits into the inflammation story in some different ways.
First off, when there is inflammation, Cannabidiol can go in and alleviate at least a portion of the pain.

It provides some analgesia to the area and then it starts interfering with the cytokines of those inflammatory substances that are causing a lot of the symptoms.

Over the last couple of years, CBD oil has become a popular form of treatment for pain management.

The primary advantage of CBD oil compared to cannabis is that it doesn’t cause the “high” feeling, and is therefore permitted in most places.

CBD is an alternative to those who suffer from more severe forms of pain and are forced to use opioids.

Whether it’s a pain or its recruitment of the immune cells. Or it’s the swelling and increases the permeability of the vessels that are around the area.

Or it’s the redness, or it’s the amount of recruitment of the inflammatory cells that are there. Because of the way that CBD oil and cream acts in the body, it has many potential benefits.

So what gives, then — how does one know if we need CBD for pain?

Well, ask the following elementary questions:

1- Does the body feel pain?
2- Are the current medications working?

If the answer is yes to both of these, and still suffer from chronic pain then perhaps we are open to looking deeper into this company with open eyes.

Do your homework, and read their FAQ.

If the answer to these questions was ‘yes’ and ‘no,’ respectively, then CBD oil for pain may very well be a legitimate option for you that’s worth checking out.

The key is to effectively gauge precisely how much CBD oil it takes to start managing your pain.

If you start off right away with a maximum dose of a 600 mg tincture, you will have no idea how much of the product it actually took to treat your condition, and how much you wasted (this is also important because you do not want to exceed dosage and end up developing a tolerance to the active cannabinoids).

If you intend to treat chronic pain (i.e., back pain, neuropathy, muscle soreness, etc.), then you may want to start out with a lower dose, and then proceed from there.

If you notice useful results, you can downsize the dose, or likewise, you may up the treatment until positive results are achieved.

The key is only to increase your dosage in small increments so that you can pinpoint precisely how much CBD oil it takes to treat your condition.

Apart from the fact that CBD Oil drops are incredibly useful, they are also very easy to take. Place a few drops under your tongue, and the CBD is instantly absorbed into your system.

The exact consumption method for taking CBD oil is clearly written on the package directions.

Some people either can’t use CBD oil for pain (i.e., they may not want to hold the oil under their tongue before swallowing), or may not like the taste.

Fortunately, there are several other options out there regarding ways of administering the cannabis-based therapy. In other words, CBD can come in a variety of “formats” other than oil.

CBD Tincture can do the trick. It’s the cream of the crop regarding CBD oils. One dropper (1mg) from the 300 series contains 10mg of CBD, which  allows you to get precise amounts of CBD and no guesswork is required.

Topical CBD creams are one of the most popular (and practical) choices for arthritis and other forms of localized pain and inflammation.

Since the skin acts as a first semi-permeable membrane that “lets the good stuff in and keeps the bad stuff out,” rubbing CBD-infused creams (or salves, ointments, etc.) into the affected area has proved to be highly effective regarding both pain and inflammation reduction.

No matter what kind of dose you take, make sure you get your CBD from a quality source.

Elixinol grows its hemp organically. You must know where your oils are coming from if you want the results you are seeking.

There are companies tricking people into buying CBD oil where in fact it has been proven to be nothing more than canola oil. So please, do your research and trust with whom you are purchasing from.

With so many different styles and brands of CBD oil—not to mention new terminology and product types—it can be difficult to know where to start when shopping for CBD online.

Currently classed as one of the world’s top CBD Oil manufacturers, Elixinol has been featured numerous times in the media on sites such as CNN, The Wall Street Journal and even in health magazines such as Men’s Health.

Elixinol keeps it pure and potent.

They combine CBD with coconut oil and natural flavors.

That’s it.

Best of all: Elixinol 3600 contains all the synergistic cannabinoids, terpenoids, essential oils and other compounds of the original hemp plant — in therapeutic concentration.

For those who can’t stomach tinctures or prefer not to vape, these powerful capsules are an excellent, convenient alternative and an even better value.

  1. Sorry to hear about your husband but it is great to hear that he is managing the pain at least. It is not easy to live with day to day pain, let alone chronic pain.

My husband had a bad knee injury a few years ago and we are always looking for more natural remedies, compared to the pain medication that our doctor prescribes him. Will the CBD work on the knee as well? Please let me know, as he has not been pain-free for even a day since his injury and if this will relieve him even a little bit, we will be able to go on our long walks again.

    Thank you in advance!

  2. I believe that all of us at some time or other are familiar with pain but to have this type of pain I believe is really not good at all. The good part is that there is the help. What you are sharing will be able to help so many people that have these issues to have some relief, Thank you for taking the time to share this with those that may be suffering from chronic pain.

    1. Pain is different for everyone. Many people suffer from inflammation in the body and are taking pharmaceutical medication prescribed to them to alleviate their suffering. What was once accepted is now being looked down on because of the opioid epidemic in the States. I know this first hand due to my husband’s pain he suffers from numerous motor-cycle crashes in his younger years to a car accident avoiding a young boy on his bicycle only to hit a telephone poll knocking him out from the drivers’ side to the passenger side onto the street. This last accident happened ten years ago, and he was prescribed opioids to help with his daily pain from breaking all his ribs. The Dr. prescribed him Norco, and he was to take 4-6 a day as needed. Fast forward to these past few years with the war on opioids, they cut him down to a 1/4 of what he was once prescribed. Thankfully, organic CBD oil helps him tremendously. We are blessed to know Dr. Blair and all the good he is doing with this miracle plant.
