Blender Smoothie Recipes

Here are some delicious blender smoothie recipes to enjoy.

These are  easy to follow recipes and even easier to clean up.

First you will need a blender to create these recipes.
Here is my favorite blender for whipping up these creations. 

There is a difference between a blender and a juicer, 
so be sure you have the right one before you begin blending. 

This first one is especially good during the fall season –

Pumpkin Latte

1 cup warm or hot milk  

1/4 cup brewed coffee  

1/4 cup pumpkin (canned)  

1/4 tsp nutmeg

1/4 tsp ground cinnamon

  1 tablespoon white chocolate chips

1/4 tsp granulated sugar  

Directions

Place all ingredients into your Vitamix container (or whichever blender you have in your kitchen) and secure the lid. Select variable 1 Turn machine on and slowly increase the speed to variable 10, and then turn to high Blend for 35-45 seconds or until your desired consistency is reached.

Your blender can froth milk when you’re making drinks such as these.

This is so incredibly good especially during the holidays. Serve up and enjoy!  


Smoothies are an excellent way to ensure that your body gets a healthy variety of fruits and vegetables.  It’s easy to blend these ingredients together and even easier to clean up.

Vanilla Strawberry Smoothie

 Ingredients  

1/2 cup  water

1/2 cup vanilla low-fat yogurt

1/2 cup red grapes

1/2 cup  frozen unsweetened strawberries

1/2 cup frozen blueberries

1/2 cup  frozen raspberries

Directions 

Place all ingredients into your blender container  and secure lid.  Select Variable 1.

Turn machine on and slowly increase speed to Variable 10, then to High.
 

Blend for 1 minute or until your desired consistency is reached.    


 

Healthy Emerald Smoothie

Ingredients

4 ounces of  vanilla yogurt

2 cups fresh pineapple

1 stalk celery chopped up

2 cups spinach leaves

2 cups ice cubes a little bit of sugar to taste

Directions

Place all ingredients into your blender container and secure lid.  Select Variable 1. Turn machine on and slowly increase speed to Variable 10, then to High.

Blend for 1 minute or until desired consistency is reached to your liking.    


Pineapple Banana Cooler

  Ingredients  

1/2 cup  tofu

1 medium banana (peeled)

1 cup chopped fresh pineapple

1 orange peeled then halved

1 cup ice cubes

Directions

Place all ingredients into your blender container.  Select Variable 1.  Turn blender on and slowly then increase speed to Variable 10, then onto high.  

Blend for 35-45 seconds or until your desired consistency is reached.     


 Cranberry, Strawberry and Beet Smoothie

Ingredients

3/4 cup cranberry juice

1/4 cup cranberries (frozen or fresh)

1 small beet, (steamed)

1/3 cup frozen strawberries

2 teaspoons honey or other sweetener to taste 2/3 cup

 ice cubes        

Directions

Place all ingredients into your blender container. Select Variable 1. Turn machine on and slowly increase speed to Variable 10, then to High.

Blend for 1 minute or until desired consistency is reached.    


 Fruit Salad Smoothie

  Ingredients

1/2 cup  red or green grapes

1 medium orange (peeled and seeded)

1/2-inch thick slice of pineapple

1/4  cucumber (peeled)

1 carrot, cut in half

1/4 medium apple (seeded and cored)

2 cups cubed ice

Directions

Place all ingredients into your blender container. Select Variable 1. Turn machine on and slowly increase speed to Variable 10, then to high.

Blend for 1 minute  


Basic Fruit Smoothie

Ingredients

1 cup soy milk

1/2 medium banana

1 thick slice pineapple

Directions

Place all ingredients into your blender container. Select Variable 1. Turn machine on and slowly increase speed to Variable 10, then high.

Blend for 25-30 seconds or until your desired consistency is reached.  


Morning Green Smoothie

Ingredients

1/2 cup water

1 cup  green grapes

1/4 cup chopped cucumber

1/2 kiwi (peeled)

1/2 medium apple

3/4 cup chopped fresh broccoli

1/2-inch-thick slice lemon (peeled)

1 cup ice cubes

Directions

Place all ingredients into your blender container. Select Variable 1. Turn machine on and slowly increase speed to Variable 10, then to high.

Blend for 1 minute or until your desired consistency is reached. Serve immediately.
